Affiliated Physicians has created a turn-key program that encompasses all required components of an effective medical response to a potential flu pandemic.  Included in this program is our ability to complete health assessments for a company’s employees, their families, vendors or any other persons to whom the company would like to extend the benefit.  The purpose of the health assessment is to prescribe and distribute the anti-viral medication, Tamiflu.

Tamiflu is an effective medication used against all influenza viruses. Taken within 6 to 48 hours of symptom onset, Tamiflu is effective against the seasonal flu and has proven effective against the current strain of the avian flu virus, H5N1.
